Jammu, March 22:
Chairman, Team Jammu, Zorawar Singh Jamwal, here today inaugurated world’s first and free mobile Sanskrit Gurukul imparting teaching to youth here in Jammu and Kashmir.
Zorawar Singh Jamwal and Mahant Rohit Shastri, the head of Shri Kaliakh Jyotish avam Vedic Sansthan Trust, said that the inauguration was part of the birth centenary of late Dr. Uttam Chand Shastri Pathak. He hoped that through such campaign, youth would understand Sanskrit language, which is the oldest in the world.
Team Jammu chief further highlighted that “I am of firm belief that after attaining knowledge through Sanskrit language, youth will help civil society in eradicating the anti-social activities like dowry, drug abuse besides it would help them in character building and respect for all.” Zorawar Singh Jamwal further lauded the role of Mahant Rohit Shastri who is playing an important role in promoting Devyani Sanskrit. Mahant Rohit Shastri’s dedication in promoting Sanskrit language in the nation is well known. The young generation should also contribute to the preservation of state and national culture by following Mahant Rohit Shastri.
On the occasion, Mahant Rohit Shastri of the Trust told that today the Sanskrit class has been started in collaboration with Team Jammu. This vehicle has been donated by the secretary of the trust, Rakesh Gandotra. Devvani Sanskrit is being taught free of cost everywhere in villages and cities. The main aim of the trust is to have Sanskrit in every home.
Prominent among others present on the occasion included SDPO, City North, Sunil Kesar, Chairman SoS, Rajiv Chuni, Dr Vivak Arya, Rakesh Gandotra, Dr. Satya Priya, Pramod Sharma, Uttam Chand Sharma, Jagdev Singh Chib,Sunil Singh, J S Manhas etc. were present on this occasion.
