Misinformation campaign against Hindu leaders
A weekly newspaper published from New Delhi Weekly Nai Duniya (June 26) started misinformation campaign against Hindu leaders. A news report on the cover page was presented in a very dramatic manner. In the picture there is a man wearing tilak and a woman with the headline hang them who eat beef, erase Muslim culture and civilization. Sadhvi Saraswati spits venom to say that by 2023 India would become a Hindu nation, an open attack on secular India. The newspaper with its write up published about the sixth All India Hindu Conference from 14 to 19 June 2017 and published pictures of some Hindu leaders.
Manzuruddin Faridi wrote spitting venom against Hindu organizations that kill who eats beef and incite violence against them, death sentence for eating beef and eating beef is eating someone’s mother. Cow should be declared religious animal. Ram Temple should be built. The most important thing is that every Hindu will be armed. These are those slogans that were shouted in the Goa convention of 132 Hindu organizations which has the target of Making India a Hindu nation by 2023. These organizations are taking routs by which India could be made a Hindu nation. These organizations decided to disobey constitution openly. The religious slogan that was being fanned to realize the dangerous dream is a threat to the nation. In the name of Hindu unity, there would be a threat to disintegration of the country and violence. They are saying that constitution of India cannot do anything to them and their constitution was written by Lord Ram and Lord Krishna.
The conference was organized by Hindi Jan Jagriti Samiti to awaken Hindi organizations to make India a Hindu nation by 2023. This organization came to limelight in 2013 after a liberal Narendra Dabholkar was killed because one of its members Virendra Singh Tawde was arrested in this regard. People in the grips of secularists would be targeted first. Over 100 Hindu organizations were spitting venom and were talking about hanging in the name of beef eating but the administration did not take any action and kept away from these organizations. How was their behavior that Vishwa Hindu Parishad distanced itself from them and rejected their ideology? Is it possible that any Muslim outfit organizes such conference where people incited to take up arms and government keeping mum? Whatever had happened in this 4-day conclave was difficult to avoid because the way they presented their intensions that could not be accepted at any cost. It was said in this convention that unless India becomes Hindu Rashtra we won’t be able to become secular because so far the meaning of secularism is appeasement of minorities. There is no value for human life in their eyes. Words of Sadhwi Saraswati were enough to incite violence and if such leaders not arrested questions are bound to be asked.
