Hindus – A deprived Community in Bangladesh.

The new converters are called Nao Muslim in Islamic term and subject to receive state benefits. Indian Hindus retained their culture and religion by disassociating with the Nao Muslims and isolation. India is the only occupied region who successfully retained its religion and culture after brutal persecution by the Arabs. Bangladeshi Hindus are still surviving with the policy of compromise and silent migration to India or others as a result a large number Hindus are missing. After Ramu Buddhist temple attack last year three Bangladesh embassies (Colombo, Bangkok & Yangon) came under attack and since then attack on Buddhist community has reduced significantly but attack on Hindu temple and Hindu community raised at alarming level. Enemy property Act is the modern version of discriminatory Jijiya tax still imposed 42 years after independence and yet to be called Bangladesh a secular country. International community expresses no serious concerns for Bangladesh Hindus nor do they help organize resistance like Palestine or Kashmir. Hindus are passive introvert and morally weak then their neighbor that encourages Government and majority Muslim’s to squeeze them at maximum.

If this policy of ethnic clenching and disparity continues, Bangladesh will be minority free within next twenty years and a new radical Taliban Bangladesh will emerge. Radicalization of Bangladesh began soon after independence in 1973 by throwing secular wartime Prime Minister Mr. Tajuddin Ahmed out of cabinet and joining OIC summit at Lahore, Pakistan in 1974. By joining OIC Bangladesh gave up its wartime secular commitment to Soviet Union, India and proceeded with Islamic agenda. Why Bangladesh wartime allies India & Soviet Union didn’t intervene and compelled Bangladesh to remain secular? Alongside Bangladesh Indian also spill their blood in 1971 war, surely not for a new radical Pakistan in the east. In 1971 war Soviet nuclear power fleet came in support of Bangladesh against US nuclear power fleet to secure Bangladesh independence. Soviet Union also used is veto power in UNO in favor of Bangladesh and deployed a large number of soldiers in Soviet- China border to safeguard Indian victory against Pakistan. Does Bangladesh ever look back to 1971 war and evaluate the contribution of other nations?  Millions were slaughtered by fanatics’ in the name of religion Islam in 1971? The fanatics’ are destroying temple and deity’s nationwide like 1971 and Hindus are the captive of power politics and bargaining tools with India & others. Maybe there are very few families those who are not affected by the liberation war in 1971 but what is their prize of sacrifices of life. Forcefully leave this country, those who were against the country they are right now taking ALL the benefit. Alone Bangladesh could have never defeat mighty US-China backed Pakistan Army and possibility of success were very thin.  During cold war in 1968 when Czechoslovakia wanted to give up communism, in that situation 5000 Warshow Tanks along with 2, 00,000 soldiers invaded Czechoslovakia to force their loyalty to communism again. But million people who sacrificed their lives for a secular democratic Bangladesh is now looking impossible to-day. In that scenario will India survive as secular state having a radical Taliban in the east and Pakistan in the west or succumb to terror by disintegration?
