500 American Hindus Protest at Rana Regan Center in Carol Stream (Chicago Suburb), IL

Around 500 Hindu Americans got together for a peaceful protest regarding the atrocities happening against Hindus in Bangladesh from August 2024 at Rana Regan Center in Carol Stream (Chicago Suburb), IL. Same group had a peaceful outdoor rally 2 months ago. Mr Haribhai Patel, President Bhartiya Seniors of Chicago, welcomed all who came to this event and mentioned about how Hindu Mandirs are being destroyed and Hindus are killed in Bangladesh.

Dr Ram Chakroborty of Chicago Kali Bari explained the current situation of Hindus in Bangladesh. He stressed that we were quiet in 1948, 1971 & 1975. Even Army and Police are picking up young girls and boys and involved in forceful religious conversion. Every time Hindus are being targeted.

“We Hindus need Hindu Desh”.

Mr Siddhesh Shevade from HSS USA spoke about the necessity of Hindu Americans contacting their Local and Federal Representatives and raise this issue.

Mr Nirav Patel from ASOA (Asian Store Owners Association) raised a point that all American Hindus should do an economic boycott of Bangladeshi products.

Mr Hemant Patel from Sanatan Shakti Sansthan talked about 90 Million Hindus being killed so far. In 1947 Bangladesh had 33% Hindu population and now only 6%. Hindus have lost 40,000 temples from their destruction. It is an ideological and religious war perpetrated against Hindus by the Bangladeshis.

Mr Amitabh Mittal, VHPA General Secretary, said that when Israel was attacked by Hamas in Oct 2023 we saw protests and rallies in schools and colleges and streets here in USA in support of terrorist organization like Hamas; what kind of world we are living. It is a time Hindus need a Hindu Desh because there is no other solution.

Mr Harish Kolasani from India Hub was very emotional and speechless after seeing a recent video of College students in Bangladesh being thrown out of 3 floors and he said he will talk to his mayor of Schaumburg and bring this to his attention.

Ms Laxmi Sarathy and Indian origin practicing lawyers said that we are highest tax payers and contributors to political candidates and it is time for us to demand action from elected officials to act in protecting innocent Hindus from getting killed in Bangladesh. And if city of Chicago can bring a Resolution for Palestine why not for Hindus of Bangladesh.

Mr Kalpesh Joshi from AAHOA promised that he will get more and more videos like that Congressman Thanedar has send and he will contact more elected officials to create similar videos.

Mr Rakesh Malhotra of OFBJP said 20 Chapter of OFBJP are doing protests in various USA cities. All the 6 Indian origin congressmen are being informed about this one month ago. Even one Hindu dies we should be concerned. Attack on Hindus is an attack on our ‘Aan Maan and Samman’. Mr Amar Upadhya of OFBJP also condemned Hindus getting killed.

Ms Vandana Jhingan spoke on behalf of Hindu women. Mass killings, religious conversions and rapes of daughters, sisters, mothers and even grandmothers are happening. Those radicals are worst than butchers. We should request Nobel Prize committee to revoke the Nobel prize of Muhmad Yunus.

Dr Rashmi Patel of FIA said we should send message to US President and inform him that this is the biggest ongoing Hindu genocide in Bangladesh. Hindus all around US should contact their congressman and Senator on this issue.

On a concluding note Dr Bharat Barai ji did mention Hindu Population in Pakistan was 12% in 1947 and now it is 2 to 3%; and in Bangladesh it was 33% and now it is 6%. Either they are being killed or converted and other reasons need to be investigated. Now, on behalf of Hindu Community of USA, we should appeal to Govt of India to allow all the persecuted Hindus of Bangladesh, Pakistan and Afghanistan a residency and in kick out all the Rohingyas and illegals back to their countries. If President elect Trump can say that he will deport all the illegals, so why our leaders are scared to do a similar thing. Secularism is becoming a one way street.

People chanted a lot of slogans and took a pledge to rise for the cause of Hindus. It is time for the protection of the Hindus of Bangladesh.
